Hotel Makar Sport & Wellness ***/**** is situated close to the university campus, in the greenbelt, just a few minutes from the historical city centre.

Hotel

The hotel was built by the plans of Sandor Devenyi, Kossuth and Ybl Prizes winner architect. A well-arranged park, sports fields, a playground and a car park surround the buildings of the centre. The centre ensuring the quality of the 21st century is suited to arrange sports programmes, conferences, training, exhibitions, family and friendly gatherings of a high standard meeting all claims. The hotel has a restaurant, where we offer you characteristic of us popular meals of the local Hungarian and international cuisine Parking is possible free of charge in a guarded car park. Pets welcome. Reception: 6.00 am - 10.00 pm

Rooms

Standard Rooms: 20-24 squaremetres, located in two different buildings. Some rooms can be accessed separately from the sport-parking lot, through stairs. The other rooms are connected to the main building. Amenities: LCD TV, telephone, minibar, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Bathrobe and slippers only on request. Extra bed and baby cot only on request.
Superior Rooms: the new rooms in the main building with 30-32 squaremetres and balcony. Amenities: LCD TV, telephone, minibar, safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, sound-proof windows, welcome present upon arrival. Bathrobe and slippers only on request. Extra bed and baby cot only on request.
Suites: much larger than Superior rooms. Suites have a living room and a bedroom, bathroom with bath tub, shower cabin, double washbasins, toilet. Amenities: LCD TV, telephone, minibar, safe, hairdryer, sound-proof windows, welcome present upon arrival. Bathrobe and slippers only on request. Extra bed and baby cot only on request.
Conjoining rooms and rooms for the disabled are available in superior category.

Conference services

The hotel organized several activities in the tennis hall (2000sqm) in the last few years. The hall can be easily converted into a perfect scene for arranging exhibitions or even conferences supplemented by the entertainment of guests. The representative upstairs conference hall (300sqm decorated by a wooden cupola) can provide meetings with buffet meals or hot food and dance programmes for 150 people at the same time. The hall can be divided into two sections. Technical equipments: Flipchart, Tv, video, CD player, microphones, Internet access (They can also arrange for the purchase or hire of other equipments.)
