Hotel Palatinus ***superior is situated in the historical city centre, in the pedestrian shopping street (Kiraly Street), directly opposite the Szechenyi Square.

Standing in the main square of the pretty city of Pécs (Capital of Culture in 2010) in south-west Hungary, the Palatinus is a stunning fin-de-sičcle hotel and the ideal base for a stylish, cultural holiday. Its elegant restaurant, grand ballroom and magnificent Art-Nouveau lobby have long made it a favourite with dignitaries and other famous guests. Pets welcome.

Rooms

The hotel has 94 rooms, while 32 of them are fully renovated and air-conditioned. All rooms are equipped with bathroom (with bathtub), colour television (with 18 satellite channels and Pay TV), telephone, minibar and radio. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in standard rooms free of charge. Non-smoking and standard rooms for allergic guests are available. Room service is only in the daytime.

Conference services

The two banqueting halls of the hotel, which could be opened together, offer perfect place for balls, parties and conferences. The Bartok Hall which is located on the second floor can accommodate 300 persons and the new renovated Nador Hall is suitable for maximum 110 persons. Technical equipment: lectern, slide and overhead projector, video projector, flip-chart, TV-set, video recorder, CD record player, portable stage, microphone (mobile and steady).

Reservation Guarantee A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking. Rooms will be held until 4.00 pm. If you arrive later, please give us a telephone call.
Children Policy Free for accommodation under 12 years in the parents' room, on the babycot or on the extra bed. When 2 children under 12 years stay at the hotel with parents get 2 double rooms. In this case 1 adult and 1 child under 12 years in a Double Room pay the rate of a Single Room.

Free for breakfast under 6 years and between 6 and 12 years get 50% discount from breakfast.
Free for main meal get 50% discount under 12 years.
