Hotel Palatinus*** is situated in the historical city centre, in the pedestrian shopping street (Kiraly Street), directly opposite the Szechenyi Square.

The hotel was built at the beginning of the century (1918) and was completely refurbished recently. The elegant banqueting hall, where Bela Bartok once performed, was restored to its former splendour and is available for conferences, banquets, business meetings and presentations. The restaurant of the hotel offers Hungarian and international specialities. Pets welcome.
Rooms
The hotel has 94 rooms, while 32 of them are fully renovated and air-conditioned. All rooms are equipped with bathroom (with bathtub), colour television (with 18 satellite channels and Pay TV), telephone, minibar and radio. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in standard and superior rooms free of charge. Non-smoking standard rooms, non-smoking superior rooms and superior rooms for allergic guests are available. Room service is only in the daytime.
Conference services
The two banqueting halls of the hotel, which could be opened together, offer perfect place for balls, parties and conferences. The Bartok Hall which is located on the second floor can accommodate 300 persons and the new renovated Nador Hall is suitable for maximum 110 persons. Technical equipment: lectern, slide and overhead projector, video projector, flip-chart, TV-set, video recorder, CD record player, portable stage, microphone (mobile and steady).
